Sharing the Journey

Dear Lord; Well Father, tomorrow’s the big day and I’m actually quite excited.  Tonight I go to rehearse with the wedding party, and go over the Ceremony I’ve prepared.  While the nerves are still there, I know that You’re with me, and I’m extremely Honored to be representing You by joining these two people in Holy Matrimony.

Today though Lord, I’d like to talk with You about something I’m extremely thankful for.  Over the last several months as I’ve been making this blog a daily part of my life, I’ve spent quite a bit of time searching for inspiration and seeking Your wisdom in a number of ways.  Some of it’s come from just looking at the events that unfold around me with different eyes, and some has come through deliberate searching through the Bible, and a variety of Internet sites created by like-minded individuals.  These people Lord, are a true Blessing to me.  I haven’t actually met any of them, and yet their posts and comments have provided me with amazing inspiration, encouragement and wisdom.  On top of that Lord, they’ve made me feel a part of their journey of faith, and I feel very Blessed to have them a part of mine as well.  Please continue to hold these amazing people in Your Embrace Father, and fill their hearts with Your infinite Love so that they may continue to Glorify You, and bring Your Light to many others.  Amen.  ~Phather Phil

P.S. While some the sites I frequent are in my Blogroll, it’s by no means all-inclusive.  Therefore, please hear my special prayers for Jenifer, Lisa, Bryan, Elaine, Allison, Jean, Kelli and Christopher.  These are Blessed Souls indeed, and make my journey to You much more full.  Amen.

Thank you so much for this wonderful prayer! You are a blessing to me as well. I was reading in Romans today about how we are all part of one body, but God has given us different gifts. We are following the One True God and reading His Word, but through the gifts God has given us, we have very different ways of sharing what we are learning. I so appreciate reading different perspectives. Your morning emails to God have really blessed me. They have helped me to view things in a different way. I so appreciate the Body of Christ!

Thank you Lisa, I agree completely! Some of the best inspiration, insight and perspective I’ve gleaned has come from reading the entries and comments on the blogs you all write. I feel very Blessed to have found you all, and look forward to starting each day reading your thoughts. Have a Blessed Day, and a wonderful Weekend!

Thank you so much for your prayer. I have been truly blessed by reading your blog each day and by your comments on my blog and others. I have enjoyed “getting to know you.” It is so awesome how God joins believers in different ways. Praying for you tomorrow as you perform the ceremony. Blessings.

Jenifer, I feel Blessed to have found your blog as well, and in getting to know more about you and your family. God brings us all together for a reason, and I’m truly thankful to he led me to you, and the others I mentioned. Thank you for your prayers on the ceremony, and for being an inspiration to your readers each day.

Thank you Bryan! The rehearsal went extremely well, and I actually had no nervousness issues whatsoever. The actual ceremony is tonight, and I’m looking forward to bringing these two together in God. Thank you so much for the encouragement and assistance, and have a Blessed Day!
