08/25 – Dear Lord; With all the trials and uncertainty pervading our lives in these difficult times, it becomes very easy to get discouraged. Searching for inspiration, I came across Proverbs 14:23; “In all labor there is profit, But mere talk leads only to poverty.”. Thank you so much for the little push… I needed this morning. You Rock! 08/24 – Dear Lord; Sometimes Lord, Faith is hard. When it feels like the world is unrelenting in it’s attacks on us, and all that we see and hear around us is sadness and suffering it can stress the most committed of souls. What I’ve come to understand though, is that’s when we need Faith the most. Our Souls needs that two-way communication with you to heal, and to triumph. Amen. ~Phather Phil
08/23 – Dear Lord; So much to pray for this morning… Please bless my children with a good first day back at school. Provide your guidance and love to my Wife Shannon as she goes on a second interview this afternoon. And please shine your light and grace on a very good friend of mine as she turns 40 today. 08/20 – Dear Lord; Wow… What a week. After all of the peaks and valleys that have pervaded my life this last seven days, I can truly say I’m exhausted. And yet, throughout all the insanity we’ve experienced I find that as I further understand my relationship with you, it all seems less crazy. I may not understand why things happen, but I’m confident there’s a reason. Amen. ~Phather Phil
08/18 – Dear Lord; I just wanted to take a moment to give thanks for sending me the resources to reconcile my inner conflict. The more I learn about your Grace, the more I understand that we’re very often given the tools to help ourselves, and the majority of the battle is recognizing and seizing the opportunity. 08/17 – Dear Lord; I try not to pray for myself too often, as I feel it to be self-serving however this morning I need you. The past week has seen much that pushed my stress levels to the breaking point. Please help guide me through these trials, and give me the strength and focus to care for those who need me.
