Focus in a Sea of Tasks…
Dear Lord; This morning I’m struggling to find focus. With a seemingly immense number of projects and issues to deal with both professionally and personally, it’s difficult to pin down a starting point at the moment. As I work to prioritize, please help guide my thoughts to a beneficial and productive direction, and direct my mind and efforts to a positive end. Amen. ~Phather Phil

Dear Lord; Regret is an amazingly difficult thing to get past sometimes. Luckily, I have very few regrets in my life, but those I do have can cause me pain like nothing else. Please help us all learn from our mistakes, and not dwell in them. Dear Lord; Perspective is everything. For example, it seems the last day or so has seen one problem after another which left me feeling overwhelmed this morning. However, when I looked back at everything that happened I realize that none of the issues were major, there were just a lot of them. Dear Lord; On this rainy Monday morning my prayers go out to those in the area that have suffered damage to their homes or been hurt by the flooding we’ve had. While my family has been spared so far, I’ve seen the pictures and have friends that have been affected by this damaging weather. Dear Lord; Forgiveness for us, is hard. Lately I’ve been catching myself having a hard time letting go of animosities against people I feel have wronged me. I’m usually good about seeing past these things, but other stresses in my life just compound the hurt and can make it difficult to move on.
