Dear Lord; I have ultimate Faith in your Plan, but to limited beings such as we are it can be frustrating to not know how all the pieces fit. Seeing so much hatred, sickness, pain and suffering in the world, even the most devout can have moments of doubt. This morning I pray for your guidance in those moments, and for the inspiration to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Amen. ~Phather Phil
Dear Lord; As you’re very aware, the last couple months have been extremely difficult for me, as well as many people close to me. It seemed as one problem cleared, three more jumped up to take it’s place. While seeking inspiration this morning I was reminded of a Zen Proverb; “The obstacle is the path.” Thank you for lighting our way, and guiding us along the path. Amen ~Phather Phil
Dear Lord; I find it fascinating that in this heavily populated world, many people feel very much alone. I’ll admit it, I have upon occasion as well. In reality of course, I’m nothing of the kind. I have a wonderful Family, amazing Friends and above it all I have an ever-growing relationship with You. Thank you for those Blessings, and for your constant Companionship. Amen. ~Phather Phil
Dear Lord; As we begin this week, I want to send my prayers out for those living with fear and uncertainty in their lives. With all the craziness we see in the world today, it’s very easy to let the anxieties and fears overwhelm us and cause us doubt and pain. Please let us all feel the comfort of your Grace, and be encouraged by our Faith that you are present in our lives. Amen. ~Phather Phil
Dear Lord; My prayers continue this morning for my Brother and his family during his illness. I have been heartened through this trial by the vast outpouring of love shown by family, friends and even extended friends who may have never met any of us. With all of the discord and strife in the world today, it’s wonderful to see your love binding us together in times of need. Amen. ~Phather Phil
