Dear Lord; Happy Wednesday Father!<\/p>\n

This evening Lord, my heart is heavy.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

As we\u2019ve discussed a number of times before, a huge Blessing in Jonathan\u2019s life over the last couple years has been his involvement with Kay\u2019s Kamp<\/a>.\u00a0 It\u2019s a wonderful organization, and it\u2019s meant so much to Jonathan to have that connection with children who share and understand his medical situation.\u00a0 The bonds he\u2019s formed with that group have been amazing, and we\u2019re very thankful to be part of their \u201cfamily\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Over the rest of the year when Kamp isn\u2019t in session, the Kay\u2019s Kamp staff is wonderful about keeping everyone in contact with each other, and in passing along any important events that may occur so that everyone can come together when needed.\u00a0 Today, I heard from them\u2026 and it wasn\u2019t happy news.<\/p>\n

One of the Kampers\u2019 medical condition has deteriorated, and he and his mother are in need of Your Comfort Father.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Whenever we come up against news like this, it hits us extremely hard Lord.\u00a0 We\u2019ve worn those shoes, and I believe it\u2019s one of the most difficult things that anyone can deal with in this lifetime.\u00a0 When I received the email, past realities flooded back to me and my heart caved knowing what they must be feeling.\u00a0 Although we\u2019ve been truly Blessed that Jonathan\u2019s disease has stayed in remission so far, the fact it still lives in him becomes much more real when we see others in that situation suffering.\u00a0 I realize we don\u2019t have the \u201cBig Picture\u201d<\/em> Father, and that You\u2019re still in control even in cases like this, but those answers can seem very distant when our spirit cries for those in pain.<\/p>\n

Heavenly Father, please bring Your Divine Healing to this little one and his mother.\u00a0 Let them know Your Love and Comfort, and the Eternal Hope that Christ brought to us all.\u00a0 Your Light is strong in these families Lord, and I pray that they see it and feel Your Peace in this time of turmoil and darkness.\u00a0 Amen.<\/p>\n
