Dear Lord; Good evening Father!<\/p>\n
Following the example I began last week Lord, today I\u2019m celebrating another \u201cThankful Thursday\u201d<\/em> here at phatherphil.org.\u00a0 While I\u2019m truly thankful all week long, I love the idea of spending our time together one day each week focusing my prayers on one particular Blessing that You\u2019ve granted me.\u00a0 If nothing else, with all the love You\u2019ve shown me Father, I should have enough material for an infinite number of Thursdays!\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n \u201cWhen we consider the blessings of God–the gifts that add beauty and joy to our lives, that enable us to keep going through stretches of boredom and even suffering–friendship is very near the top.\u201d – Donald W. McCullough, Mastering Personal Growth<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Friendships have been at the forefront of my heart this past week Lord.\u00a0 Over the years, you\u2019ve brought some truly amazing and wonderful people into my life.\u00a0\u00a0 Some are still nearby, some have moved away and some have passed on to Your Kingdom, but all have left indelible footprints on my path.\u00a0 From these vessels of Your choosing Lord, I\u2019ve gained wisdom, acceptance, fellowship and encouragement.<\/p>\n You\u2019ve even used technology to connect us Father.\u00a0 Thanks to the staggering growth of the Internet, it seems as though no corner of the world is outside our reach these days.\u00a0 Through this conduit, I\u2019ve been Blessed to connect with many beautiful souls whom I likely would never have encountered otherwise.\u00a0 Your Children in this \u201cglobal fellowship\u201d<\/em> give me fresh perspective and inspiration, and have enriched my journey to no end.<\/p>\n Heavenly Father, I thank You for the many friendships and fellowships You\u2019ve Blessed me with.\u00a0 I am a better man, and a better Child of God for those relationships.<\/p>\n \u201cTwo are better than one, If either of them falls down, Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
