Dear Lord; Good morning Father.\u00a0 I want to start today by thanking You for being such a good listener.\u00a0 I feel like I\u2019ve been talking Your Ears off the last day or so, and while my heart is still troubled by earthly worries, laying them out to You does worlds of good for my sense of Hope.\u00a0 I keep hearing You telling me to let go and find rest in Your Love, and I\u2019m trying to Lord\u2026 but these fears have a true grip on me at the moment.<\/p>\n
Searching for focus in You today, I found some comfort in verses from the Book of Matthew :<\/p>\n
\u201cTherefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear.\u00a0 Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?\u00a0 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.\u00a0 Are you not much more valuable than they?\u00a0 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?\u201d \u2013 Matthew 6:25-27 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n Verse 27<\/strong> really grabbed me Father.\u00a0 \u201cCan any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?\u201d<\/strong> Wow\u2026 I guess I need to take a step back and Accept<\/span> that.\u00a0 (Ok\u2026 There\u2019s that word again.\u00a0 I get it.)<\/em> Then a little further on in the chapter, Verse 34<\/strong> says :<\/p>\n \u201cTherefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.
