Dear Lord; Wow Father\u2026 What a powerful morning You\u2019ve presented me with.\u00a0 I\u2019m still not 100% sure what to make of it, but it\u2019s got me excited nonetheless.<\/p>\n

Now, I\u2019ve never been a big nighttime \u201cdreamer\u201d.\u00a0 In fact, I\u2019m a chronic insomniac so when I do finally crash I very seldom remember what runs through my head the next morning.\u00a0 Last night however, was a completely different experience for me.\u00a0 Everything was so vivid, so real\u2026 When the alarm clock went off (and just FYI, I now realize that alarm clocks are one of Satan\u2019s creations\u2026LOL) I was truly shocked to find out that I had been asleep.\u00a0 However, although I woke a bit disoriented I had an amazing sense of peace and of hope in my heart that hadn\u2019t been there when I went to bed.\u00a0 It was a wonderful feeling, but at the same time very confusing.\u00a0 A little later, I was trying to make sense of it all while showering and You whispered to my heart :<\/p>\n

\u201cExpect something wonderful\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve never put much stock in my dreams Father, but I\u2019ve absolutely learned to be open to Your Voice.\u00a0 This was such a powerful and unexpected experience for me, that I\u2019m still having a hard time putting it into perspective.\u00a0 Either way, no matter what the \u201csomething wonderful\u201d turns out to be, I can\u2019t thank You enough for the joyous feeling You left me with this morning.<\/p>\n

On a different note Lord, I just had to share another piece of happiness with You.\u00a0 Last night, Aidan and I finished reading the Book of Genesis in his new Action Bible.\u00a0 He was beaming from the accomplishment, and went to bed with a smile on his face.\u00a0 We also found and bought the DVD of the movie \u201cThe Ten Commandments\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/a> recently, and are planning to watch it this weekend so it\u2019s a wonderful lead-in to reading the Book of Exodus.\u00a0 Jonathan\u2019s been reading Genesis as well, and I expect he\u2019ll have it done in the next day or so as well.\u00a0 Can You tell I\u2019m proud of them Lord?\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

And we\u2019re once again coming into a weekend Father.\u00a0 Shannon and I are getting out for \u201cdate night\u201d tonight, with the balance of the weekend being spent getting the Christmas decorations put away and putting our house back to some semblance of normality.\u00a0 I\u2019ll admit, I\u2019m going to be sorry to see all the wonderful lights and embellishments get put away for another year, but it\u2019s time.<\/p>\n

Heavenly Father, I thank You so much for coming to me this morning.\u00a0 The more I feel Your Presence with me, the more I know peace in my heart and go through the day focused on what truly matters.\u00a0 Please guide me to better be Your Servant, and to shine Your Light to those around me so that they may know Your Love as I\u2019ve come to.\u00a0 Amen.<\/p>\n
