Dear Lord; Good morning Father!\u00a0 First off, I want to tell You how wonderful it was to have such an amazing outpouring of affection and prayers for Jonathan\u2019s birthday yesterday.\u00a0 Between the phone calls, Facebook postings, Blog Comments and emails it was VERY apparent to Shannon and I how loved he is, and how Blessed we are to know so many good people.<\/p>\n
Today Lord, I\u2019d like to revisit a topic we\u2019ve discussed before; The sense of despair I\u2019ve been seeing in far too many people lately.\u00a0 The reasons for these feelings run the gambit from financial problems, to employment issues, to stressing over Holiday \u201crequirements\u201d, but it seems that even more than usual, many are letting these burdens overwhelm them.\u00a0 I\u2019ll be honest Father, our year has certainly been difficult in many ways as well, however it really hasn\u2019t felt as desperate for me as I would have expected.\u00a0 Thinking on this, and listening for Your Guidance I realized why\u2026 I\u2019ve got Jesus in my heart!\u00a0 What a remarkable Gift You\u2019ve given me!\u00a0 No, that doesn\u2019t pay the mortgage or keep gas in the car, but it does put all those things in proper perspective.\u00a0 Matthew\u00a0 11:28-30 reads :<\/p>\n
