Dear Lord; This morning Father, I\u2019d actually like to rant a little bit if you don\u2019t mind.\u00a0 The focus of my rambling is the overabundance of \u201cPolitical Correctness\u201d that seems to be even more overblown this time of year.\u00a0 I\u2019m generally a very flexible person Lord, especially when working with peoples\u2019 beliefs and religious (or lack thereof) affiliations, however why do some people find it necessary to force those restrictions and connotations on the rest of the world?\u00a0 Over the last couple of weeks, I\u2019ve started seeing the typical \u201cTake the Christ out of Christmas so as not to offend anyone\u201d actions brought about by certain governmental bodies and other secular groups, and it just irks me to no end.\u00a0 It\u2019s actually funny, but I have friends that are Jewish, Wiccan and Buddhist and even they\u2019re bothered by this attitude our culture seems to have as of late.<\/p>\n
So Lord, this year to try and help balance all the \u201cP.C.\u201d that\u2019s going on, I\u2019m working even harder to focus on the true reason for this Blessed Season; The Celebration of Your Son\u2019s Holy Birth!\u00a0 Please Lord, shine Your Divine Light on our hearts and minds, and help us all Honor the Greatest Gift the world was ever given.\u00a0 Fill our Spirits with Your Presence, and let the world feel the Peace that was ushered in that Holy Night.\u00a0 Amen.\u00a0 ~Phather Phil<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
