In keeping with my \u201cPrayers of Thanks\u201d theme this week Father, I\u2019d like to talk about something else I\u2019m very thankful for; Prosperity.\u00a0 Now, at first glance this may seem to also be ironic as financially this has been one of the worst years we\u2019ve ever had, but I\u2019m focusing on the \u201cBig Picture\u201d here, but it really isn\u2019t.\u00a0 Let me explain.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve learned to look at the concept of prosperity in a different way over the last several years.\u00a0 Yes, there\u2019s certainly a prosperity that comes along with significant financial gain or business success, but I also think it plays into other areas of life as well.\u00a0 For example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I have an amazing family, and although money has been very tight as of late we\u2019ve never been closer.<\/li>\n<li>I\u2019m surrounded by a plethora of wonderful friends who truly care about us, and for whom we care in return.<\/li>\n<li>We have a lovely home, we\u2019re warm and clothed, and we have good food in our bellies each day.<\/li>\n<li>Shannon and I both have jobs we enjoy, and although self-employment does hold a large number of challenges, I have the ability to forge my own professional destiny.<\/li>\n<li>Our children go to a good school, are doing extremely well and are growing mentally, physically and emotionally.<\/li>\n<li>My relationship with You Father, has never been stronger and continues to grow each day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I think I can safely look at these and say I feel prosperous this year Lord.\u00a0 Today\u2019s prayer therefore, is for all of us to look at prosperity through Your Eyes, and to try to see the \u201cBig Picture\u201d so we may be truly thankful for Your Blessings and Grace.\u00a0 Amen.\u00a0 ~Phather Phil<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Lord;
