Dear Lord; Happy New Year\u2019s Eve Father!<\/p>\n

As my mind wandered this morning Father, drifting along this past year\u2019s erratic path and pondering the days ahead You spoke to my heart; a whispered phrase of things to be\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cAnother Chance\u2026\u201d You promised.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0And with that I realized Lord\u2026 Every day I wake with breath in my lungs You\u2019ve granted me Another Chance\u2026<\/i><\/p>\n

\u201cI will never forget this awful time,<\/strong><\/p>\n

as I grieve over my loss.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yet I still dare to hope<\/strong><\/p>\n

when I remember this:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The faithful love of the Lord never ends!<\/strong><\/p>\n

His mercies never cease.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Great is his faithfulness;<\/strong><\/p>\n

his mercies begin afresh each morning.\u201d \u2013 Lamentations 3:20-23 (NLT)<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Another Chance to recognize my mistakes\u2026<\/p>\n

And hopefully to learn from them.<\/p>\n

Another Chance to receive Your gracious love\u2026<\/p>\n

And to share that love with others.<\/p>\n

Another Chance to look with wonder at the Blessings all around me…<\/p>\n

And Another Chance to worship; to lift my heart to You in gratefulness.<\/p>\n

Another Chance to cast off the chains of my self-imposed guilt and failures and place them at Your feet\u2026<\/p>\n

And Another Chance to grow closer to You in the process.<\/p>\n

Another Chance to read Your Word\u2026<\/p>\n

And know You more through each passage and verse.<\/p>\n

Another Chance to gracefully accept the assistance of others when it\u2019s offered\u2026<\/p>\n

And Another Chance to reach out to them in love as well.<\/p>\n

Another Chance to strive for righteousness Lord\u2026<\/p>\n

Another Chance to draw closer to the man You desire me to become.<\/p>\n

Thank You Father\u2026<\/i><\/p>\n

For Another Chance.<\/i><\/p>\n

Amen.<\/p>\n
