Dear Lord; Happy Thankful Thursday Father!<\/p>\n

I was fried Lord\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n

Tired,<\/i><\/p>\n

Stressed,<\/i><\/p>\n

And consumed with worry.<\/i><\/p>\n

As I followed the familiar route into my office earlier this week, my chest tightened while my mind raced; methodically detailing each project and deadline that loomed ahead of me, and allowing those shadowy voices of foreboding to gain audience in my heart.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not the mountains that you face that are the obstacles Phil, it\u2019s your doubts.\u201d You interrupted\u2026<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The world paused for a second; my thoughts held hostage by Your statement\u2026<\/p>\n

And then I realized You were right\u2026 I\u2019ve been my own tallest mountain.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

You know my needs Lord, far better than I do…<\/p>\n

And yet, I often view the trials and challenges in my life as if I\u2019m the only one who understands,<\/p>\n

As if I\u2019m facing them on my own;<\/p>\n

Allowing those whispers of self-doubt to draw me into myself,<\/p>\n

And obscuring me from knowing Your loving hand in every facet of my life.<\/p>\n

Help me climb that lonely mountain Father;<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

To scale its craggy face and stand high upon the summit, <\/i><\/p>\n

Boldly facing all life\u2019s moments in Your steadfast company.<\/i><\/p>\n

Such is my prayer Lord\u2026 In Your precious name,<\/i><\/p>\n

Amen.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As I continue to list some of Your many Blessings in my life Father, my heart swells with the recognition of finding Your loving hand in more and more places every day.\u00a0 And while I know that my existence is awash in Your grace Lord, this week I want to give special thanks for:<\/p>\n

691. Both my boys having the opportunity to attend Camp Pecometh<\/a> this summer.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

692. An inexpensive repair to our air conditioner.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

693. Shannon having a safe flight home from Florida.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

694. An inexpensive update to Lightroom 5<\/a> that was released last week.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

695. A wonderful Father\u2019s Day spent with people I love.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

696. Wonderful photo opportunities while walking in Blackbird State Forest last week.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

697. Watching the sunrise over Port Mahon this past Saturday morning.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

698. Your protecting and healing presence while a friend of ours recovers from surgery that was performed last week.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

699. The Histiocytosis groups on Facebook that allow us to share information, encouragement and prayers for other families dealing with LCH.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

700. The encouraging comments I\u2019ve been receiving regarding my photography work on 500px.com.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

701. Your protecting and comforting hand as I drove through some very severe weather last Thursday.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

702. Your patience with me.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

703. The opportunity I had to watch and photograph an osprey flying in to feed it\u2019s young at Port Mahon.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

704. New glasses for Jonathan.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

705. The wonderful message and discussion about living in a state of gratefulness at our \u201cWhere Two or Three Are Gathered\u201d Tuesday night small group.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

\u2026 And for so very much more.<\/i><\/p>\n
