Dear Lord; Happy Thankful Thursday Father!<\/p>\n

I think Lord, that what I struggle with the most on my walk with You is our conflicting schedules\u2026<\/p>\n

I want things to happen on \u201cPhil time\u201d, however quite often Your timing is a good bit different than mine.<\/i><\/p>\n

And yet, as I was pondering it this morning on my drive into the office, I realized something I hadn\u2019t before…<\/p>\n

We create our schedules around what\u2019s most important to us; base them on our priorities\u2026<\/p>\n

If our \u201cschedules\u201d are out of sync\u2026 Then maybe I\u2019m not fully recognizing Your<\/span> priorities for my life.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Ouch.<\/p>\n

Therefore Father, as I continue counting my Blessings on this Thankful Thursday<\/i> afternoon, I\u2019m also going to try and focus on the timing of those divine gifts; actively seeking not only Your whispered presence in the chaos, but also examining the context in which You\u2019ve delivered it.\u00a0 You truly do fill my life with love Lord, and this week I\u2019m especially grateful for:<\/p>\n

646. A relaxing Friday evening on the deck with friends.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

647. Feeling Your peace come over me when I need it most.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

648. The healing power in my puppy\u2019s wet kisses after a long day.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

649. Refreshing spring breezes.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

650. The opportunity I\u2019ve had to teach Sunday School class this past season at Ewell\u2019s St. Paul UMC.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

651. An inspiring discussion about Your love with a dear lady this afternoon.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

652. Finding a new photo-sharing site where I can connect with other photographers.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

653. The fellowship and discussions at our Tuesday night Faith Development Group, \u201cWhere Two or Three are Gathered\u201d.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

654. An \u201call good\u201d checkup for Jonathan with the neurosurgeon at A.I. Dupont Children\u2019s Hospital.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

655. The wisdom I find when I not only seek Your presence, but also strive to recognize the context of those gifts.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

656. The opportunity to spend lots of time with people I love over the upcoming Memorial Day weekend.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

657. Sunday evenings spent watching \u201cDuck Dynasty\u201d reruns with my family.\u00a0 <\/i><\/b>J<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

658. A wonderful array of resources online to help me learn new techniques and become a better photographer.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

659. Seeing my children give from the heart unexpectedly.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

660. Your gentle reminder to stay my tongue when my emotions begin to overtake me.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

And so very much more\u2026<\/p>\n

For it\u2019s in Your precious name I pray,<\/p>\n

Amen.<\/p>\n
