Dear Lord; Happy Tuesday Father!<\/p>\n

You know Father, all my life I\u2019ve seen myself as a problem-solver; a \u201cfixer\u201d<\/i> of things if You will.\u00a0 Cars, electronics, furniture\u2026 You name it, I\u2019ve repaired it.\u00a0 In fact, over the years I\u2019ve taken great pride in being seen by others as someone who can deal with anything that\u2019s thrown at them.\u00a0 There\u2019s only one real problem with projecting that image though\u2026<\/p>\n

It\u2019s an illusion.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

In the end Lord, I\u2019m at least as broken as those items I repair and yet\u2026<\/p>\n

I can\u2019t fix myself.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Those I love and care for are hurting too Father; physically, emotionally and even spiritually\u2026<\/p>\n

But I can\u2019t fix them either.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

And in the course of my day Lord, I connect with so many people in true need of help; some battling addictions, some struggling financially, and others that are trying desperately to cope with feelings of despair\u2026<\/p>\n

And while I try to offer what assistance I can Father, I know I can\u2019t patch all the holes in their hearts.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Thankfully though, I have a Savior who can.<\/p>\n

Gracious Lord\u2026<\/i><\/p>\n

The Great Physician and Healer\u2026<\/i><\/p>\n

Our Ultimate \u201cFixer\u201d.<\/i><\/p>\n

Through You Lord Jesus, all can be made whole.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Please help me Father…<\/p>\n

To cast aside all illusion of control and submit my heart to You in entirety\u2026<\/i><\/p>\n

To be Your instrument of aid when called to do so, while recognizing my limitations and yielding those \u201crepairs\u201d to the One who has none\u2026<\/i><\/p>\n

And to accept and reveal the unparalleled peace and joy You so willingly offer to those around me.<\/i><\/p>\n

For it\u2019s in Your Holy Name I pray,<\/p>\n

Amen.<\/p>\n
