Dear Lord; Happy Tuesday Father!<\/p>\n

People frustrate me Father\u2026 Or should I say, I allow<\/span><\/strong> people to frustrate me.<\/em><\/p>\n

And yet, in truth it\u2019s not other people that are the cause of my angst Lord, it\u2019s the unmet expectations I regularly place on them; thrusting undue responsibility on earthly shoulders to fulfill my perception of need.<\/p>\n

But that\u2019s not really fair, now is it Father\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

To begin with, more often than not what I feel my needs are isn\u2019t based on seeking Your direction for me, but instead on my reacting to a situation I\u2019m in the middle of.\u00a0 And while I feel my journey to You has brought me ever closer to discerning Your will in my day-to-day life, I\u2019m fully aware I still have a long<\/span><\/em> way to travel.<\/p>\n

So, right out of the gate Father, I readily concede that my perception of need is quite often, flawed.<\/em><\/p>\n

Then to compound that Lord, quite often I drag those around me along for the ride; shackling others to my sense of fulfillment, and finding myself feeling empty when those artificial requirements aren\u2019t met.<\/p>\n

In the end Father, I know it\u2019s all a matter of trust;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Trust that You know my needs Lord, far better than I or anyone else does\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

Trust that You love me; completely and with a purity that no one on this earth can match\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

Trust that Your ways are best Father, whether they\u2019re what I think I want or not\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

And finally Lord, trust that You can and will move Heaven and earth to do what\u2019s truly best, whether I know what that is or not\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

Complete faith\u2026 Complete trust in You Father\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cTrust in the Lord with all your heart;<\/strong><\/p>\n

do not depend on your own understanding.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Seek his will in all you do,<\/strong><\/p>\n

and he will show you which path to take.\u201d \u2013 Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT)<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It\u2019s a tall order for my flawed, easily distracted heart Lord, but it\u2019s a goal I strive to realize with every passing day.<\/p>\n

Infuse me with Your spirit Father; make Your will my heartbeat, and the sound of Your voice define my every waking thought\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

Relinquishing the worldly tethers I cling to,<\/em><\/p>\n

And placing all faith in Your Holy hands\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

I trust You Lord.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Amen.<\/p>\n
