Dear Lord; Happy Thankful Thursday Father!<\/p>\n
\u201cCount your Blessings\u2026\u201d You instructed.<\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n \u201cReally Father??\u201d\u00a0 I responded\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n Following what could easily be described as a week of nightmare situations Lord, I\u2019ll be honest, I was having a rough time focusing on the positives in my life.\u00a0 But driving into the office this morning, as I mournfully ran down the tasks at hand for the day in my head, You made it clear my head was in the wrong place\u2026<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s Thankful Thursday, Phil.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Ouch\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n I\u2019d nearly forgotten about those posts Father\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n It\u2019s time to see through brighter eyes again;<\/em><\/p>\n Focused on Your light that surrounds my life,<\/em><\/p>\n Not on the shadows that lie in waiting.<\/em><\/p>\n So today Father, I pick up where I left off in March\u2026 Counting Your many gifts, and giving thanks for all You are:<\/p>\n 601. Celebrating 17 years of marriage to my wonderful wife Shannon on June 29th<\/sup>.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n 602. Being involved in a very successful Vacation Bible School at Ewell\u2019s-St. Paul UMC<\/a> last week.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n 603. A wonderful week away at Chestnut Grove Resort<\/a> with my family and friends.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n 604. Attending an amazing night of music and worship at the Casting Crowns<\/a> and Building 429<\/a> Concert at the Delaware State Fair<\/a> last Friday.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n 605. Being presented with new opportunities to minister to others in unexpected places.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n 606. Quiet evenings at home watching movies with family and close friends.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n 607. Having the opportunity to spend lots of time with my best friend.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n 608. Jonathan getting to attend another amazing week away at Kay\u2019s Kamp<\/a> this past June.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n 609. Having a new \u201cfurry family member\u201d in our lives; my Pomeranian puppy Guinness.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n 610.
