Dear Lord; Happy Friday Father!<\/p>\n

Your words echoed painfully throughout my heart this morning Lord; binding me to a realization I\u2019ve been purposefully ignoring these past several weeks\u2026<\/p>\n

I haven\u2019t been trusting You completely.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve worried\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve struggled\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve panicked\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve tried to handle things under my own strength\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

And I\u2019ve been feeling that crushing weight on my shoulders Lord\u2026 A weight You never intended for me to carry alone.<\/em><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been swimming upstream Father, and I\u2019m tired.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

And yet, in the midst of my self-focused efforts to fight those fearsome currents Lord…<\/p>\n

You offer me rest,<\/em><\/p>\n

And assistance,<\/em><\/p>\n

And grace.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cSurrender, Phil\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Help me to see beyond my arrogance Father; with vision not clouded by earthly lenses.<\/p>\n

Remind me Lord…<\/p>\n

That my burdens don\u2019t define me, but instead offer an opportunity; the chance to know Your unending love for me in a personal, intimate way:<\/p>\n

To draw me closer to You\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

To share my pain, my joys, my laughter, and my tears;<\/em><\/p>\n

And to guide and strengthen me into the man You desire I become.<\/em><\/p>\n

I hear You Father\u2026<\/p>\n

And I surrender.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
