Dearest Lord;<\/p>\n

I hurt Father.<\/p>\n

I hurt with the ache of all the things my broken shell won\u2019t release;<\/p>\n

My failings\u2026<\/p>\n

My mistakes\u2026<\/p>\n

Bad decisions I\u2019ve made\u2026<\/p>\n

Those times I\u2019ve closed my heart to You\u2026<\/p>\n

All flood in and overwhelm my spirit.<\/p>\n

So from my knees I reach for You.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I feel alone Father.<\/p>\n

Alone with all those self-imposed burdens I allow to linger;<\/p>\n

The pain I see in others\u2019 lives\u2026<\/p>\n

Missed opportunities to serve\u2026<\/p>\n

Those \u201cWhat ifs\u201d that haunt my heart\u2026<\/p>\n

All sobering reminders of my limitations in this mortal coil.<\/p>\n

So from my knees I reach for You.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I feel unworthy Lord.<\/p>\n

Unworthy of the Blessings You bestow;<\/p>\n

Undeserving of other peoples\u2019 love,<\/p>\n

Of Your love for me,<\/p>\n

And of Your immeasurable Grace in my life\u2026<\/p>\n

Truly unfit to receive those gifts You place in my life each day.<\/p>\n

So from my knees I reach for You.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

And from that penitent pose Father,<\/p>\n

You touch me\u2026<\/p>\n

And remind me;<\/p>\n

That You feel my pain, and want to take it from me\u2026<\/p>\n

That I\u2019m never alone\u2026<\/p>\n

And that I\u2019m worthy in Your eyes.<\/p>\n

And from Your Throne You reach for me.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Amen.<\/p>\n
