{"id":1705,"date":"2011-12-05T17:32:04","date_gmt":"2011-12-05T21:32:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.phatherphil.org\/?p=1705"},"modified":"2011-12-05T17:32:04","modified_gmt":"2011-12-05T21:32:04","slug":"remind-me","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.phatherphil.org\/?p=1705","title":{"rendered":"Remind Me"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Lord; Happy Meditations Monday Father!<\/p>\n<p>First off Father, I want to take a moment to thank You for a truly marvelous weekend.\u00a0 For once, we didn\u2019t have much in the way of plans laid out in advance, so we used that wonderfully uncommitted time to spend enjoying each other\u2019s company, sharing a meal and some laughter with friends, and reveling in the Blessings You\u2019ve given us.\u00a0 It was a joy-filled, productive weekend Lord, and I thank You very much for that time of respite.<\/p>\n<p>Last Friday Father, as I was driving to our veterinarian\u2019s office to pick up some medication, <a title=\"JasonGrayMusic.com\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jasongraymusic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jason Gray<\/a>\u2019s song <em>\u201cRemind Me Who I Am\u201d<\/em> began to play on the radio.\u00a0 Now, I\u2019ve heard this song more than a few times Lord, but for some reason this time the lyrics came alive for me and I found myself drawn into the song\u2019s poignant message\u2026<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QSIVjjY8Ou8?rel=0&amp;hd=1\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"600\" height=\"305\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>After a week comprised of what seemed to be a never-ending series of struggles and trials Lord, this simple reminder wrapped in verse made a wonderful connection for me.\u00a0 It brought to the surface an inescapable truth that my mind had laid to the sideline for much of the week\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>We\u2019re Your Beloved Children.\u00a0 Broken, hurting, rebellious or doubtful\u2026 You love us all the same.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201cSee what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.
