{"id":1184,"date":"2011-07-22T14:34:53","date_gmt":"2011-07-22T18:34:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.phatherphil.org\/?p=1184"},"modified":"2011-07-22T14:34:53","modified_gmt":"2011-07-22T18:34:53","slug":"closing-the-week-in-prayer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.phatherphil.org\/?p=1184","title":{"rendered":"Closing the Week in Prayer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Lord; Happy Friday Father!<\/p>\n<p>To conclude this week\u2019s postings Lord, I\u2019d like to say a couple of prayers if I may.<\/p>\n<p>First off Father, it\u2019s <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">hot<\/span><\/em> here today\u2026 in fact, dangerously so.\u00a0 With a temperature of around 100 degrees and high humidity, the heat index shows us at around 117 degrees outside.\u00a0 For those of us who are Blessed with good health it\u2019s oppressive enough, but for those who are more vulnerable to the effects of these conditions (young children, the elderly, asthmatics, etc.) this weather can pose serious health risks.\u00a0 Please wrap all those affected by these climatic conditions in Your Protective Embrace.\u00a0 Let them feel the cooling breeze of Your Holy Spirit, and give them the resources needed to combat the effects of this weather.<\/p>\n<p>Secondly Lord, several of my <em>\u201cBloggy\u201d<\/em> friends are attending the <a title=\"She Speaks Conference\" href=\"http:\/\/shespeaksconference.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cShe Speaks\u201d Conference<\/a> this weekend.\u00a0 I pray that Your Presence is felt in abundance at this gathering, and that their hearts and minds are opened wide to gain what this experience has to offer.\u00a0 Please protect and watch over their families while they\u2019re away, and bring them home safely when it\u2019s completed.<\/p>\n<p>And finally Father, I\u2019d like to thank You for leading me to find the <a title=\"Glo Bible Website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.globible.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Glo Bible<\/a> website today.\u00a0 I\u2019m always on the lookout for new sources of information to assist me in my Walk with you, and the Glo Bible is an amazing tool.\u00a0 After downloading the free version and working with it for part of the morning, I ended up purchasing the Premium content as well.\u00a0 I\u2019m looking forward to spending time exploring it this weekend, and placing it in Jonathan\u2019s hands as well.\u00a0 With all the rich multimedia and interactive tools Glo contains, I think it could open a whole new line of thought and prayer for him as he delves deeper into Your Word.<\/p>\n<p>Heavenly Father, I thank You for yet another Blessing-filled week.\u00a0 I pray that Your Divine Peace and Comfort is felt by all those in need, and for Your continued Guidance in making choices and decisions that best glorify Your Will for us.\u00a0 Amen.<\/p>\n<p>~Phather Phil<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Lord; Happy Friday Father!
