{"id":1042,"date":"2011-06-03T16:20:58","date_gmt":"2011-06-03T20:20:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.phatherphil.org\/?p=1042"},"modified":"2011-06-03T16:20:58","modified_gmt":"2011-06-03T20:20:58","slug":"the-final-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.phatherphil.org\/?p=1042","title":{"rendered":"The Final Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Lord; Happy Friday Father!<\/p>\n<p>To close our week\u2019s conversations Lord, I thought I\u2019d share a smile with You.<\/p>\n<p>The school that Jonathan attends uses a project-based approach to learning, which includes a number of long-term research projects over the course of the year.\u00a0 For the last project this year, they allowed the students to pick their own topic of interest to research, and along with a paper on the subject they had to present a visual to the class as well.\u00a0 Jonathan chose the Newsboys as his topic, and for a visual he and I whipped up a multimedia presentation for him to show on the SmartBoard.\u00a0 As this isn\u2019t a Christian school, I was pleasantly surprised that they didn\u2019t argue with the content choice, and will be very interested to hear how it\u2019s received by his classmates.<\/p>\n<p>Either way, I thought I\u2019d share the results of his efforts with You today:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/24611606?title=0&amp;byline=0&amp;portrait=0\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>I love seeing him excited about all aspects of worshiping You Father, and this just brought a smile to my heart.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Father God, I lift my heart in praise for Your Presence in my life each day.\u00a0 You Bless us in so many ways Lord, and I pray that I\u2019m effective in sharing that Hope and Peace with all those around me.\u00a0 Amen.<\/p>\n<p>~Phather Phil<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Lord; Happy Friday Father!
