Dear Lord; Today I’d like to send my prayers out for some friends who are struggling with direction. When the weight of the world feels overly heavy, it can lead us to question life choices we’ve made along the way and to doubt ourselves and our abilities. Dear Lord; This morning I just want to say Thank You. The list of things I’m thankful for is long and diverse, but you know my heart and what’s contained therein. Although life has been quite tumultuous as of late, through all the ups and downs I’ve felt your Hand and it provides me the comfort and focus to see things through. Dear Lord; My prayers this morning focus on compassion. I’ve always considered myself a compassionate person, but like all of us from time to time my capacity for empathy can be limited. Please help me see past my own limitations and understanding, and to give aid and assistance to those who truly need it without casting undue judgement. Amen. ~Phather Phil
Dear Lord; Forgiveness for us, is hard. Lately I’ve been catching myself having a hard time letting go of animosities against people I feel have wronged me. I’m usually good about seeing past these things, but other stresses in my life just compound the hurt and can make it difficult to move on. Please help purge my heart of these burdens, and to focus on a positive direction. Amen. ~Phather Phil
Dear Lord; Today, I’m focusing my prayers on new beginnings. This has been a tumultuous year for myself as well as many others, but with every ending there is always the opportunity to reinvent and begin anew.
