Father’s Day Repose…

06/22 – Dear Lord, First off, I want to thank you for a relaxing Father’s Day weekend with my Family. They are by far the biggest blessings in my life. Today, I’m focusing my thoughts and prayers on Jonathan as he tries to find his place with a new group at camp. Please help him find his voice, and have a happy day. Amen. ~Phather Phil

From Conflict, Peace…

06/17 – Dear Lord, Once again, I thank you for all the blessings you have brought to my life. This morning I direct my prayers towards those who are confronting deep, personal conflicts. Please help guide their hearts and minds to make the right decisions, and provide wisdom to see the truth in things. As always, you Rock! Amen. ~Phather Phil

A New Start…

06/14 – Dear Lord, Just wanted to drop you a quick note to thank you for a lovely weekend with Family and Friends. I am indeed Blessed. Also, I’d like to say a special prayer for my wonderful Wife Shannon as she starts the first day at her new job. Teaching a camp class of 30 5&6 year-olds may need some Divine Intervention. Amen. ~Phather Phil

The Light at the End of the Tunnel…

06/10 – Dear Lord, Please watch over and provide comfort to those experiencing loss, bolster the spirit of people striving to strike out and make a difference in the world, and give strength and conviction to those struggling to make ends meet. Please help us all see the light at the end of the tunnel, with the knowledge it’s not a train. Amen. ~Phather Phil

The Question of Suffering…

06/07 – Dear Lord, This weekend past I saw examples of true love and faith, as well as deep hurt and despair. And while I still have many questions as to why some are allowed to suffer with no obvious purpose, I put my faith back in the idea that there’s a plan much larger than I’m meant to comprehend. Please show your light to those in need the most, and help them find that peace. Amen. ~Phather Phil

Going Forth in Love…

06/04 – Dear Lord, I’m afraid it’s been a long week for many of us. Please make your presence and comfort felt to those in need, bring healing to wounded bodies and spirits, strengthen our resolves and help us go forth in Love. I also want to thank you personally for helping me to see past my own anxieties and to focus on the truly important parts of my life. As always, you Rock! ~Phather Phil
