08/31 – Dear Lord; Sometimes, when it feels as if the world is on our shoulders, it’s very difficult to see ourselves in a positive light. May all those in the throes of turmoil see themselves, if just for a moment, through your loving eyes and know that warmth and peace. Amen. ~Phather Phil
08/27 – Dear Lord; Today, I’d just like to give thanks… Thanks for wonderful friends, a loving family, food in my belly, air in my lungs, and all the other simple little blessings you bestow on me each day. While I’m guilty of losing sight of it now and again, I do realize that I am blessed. Amen. ~Phather Phil
08/26 – Dear Lord; I was reminded this morning of the Taoist Principle of Wu Wei, which teaches us not to fight the Universe’s nature but instead to flow with it like water around a rock. Pondering this, I realized that idea applies to our Faith as well. If we spent more energy embracing your love and guidance instead of fighting the world around us, we would all be happier people. 08/25 – Dear Lord; With all the trials and uncertainty pervading our lives in these difficult times, it becomes very easy to get discouraged. Searching for inspiration, I came across Proverbs 14:23; “In all labor there is profit, But mere talk leads only to poverty.”. Thank you so much for the little push… I needed this morning. You Rock! 08/24 – Dear Lord; Sometimes Lord, Faith is hard. When it feels like the world is unrelenting in it’s attacks on us, and all that we see and hear around us is sadness and suffering it can stress the most committed of souls. What I’ve come to understand though, is that’s when we need Faith the most. Our Souls needs that two-way communication with you to heal, and to triumph. Amen. ~Phather Phil
