Good point today, Phil. I know research is showing all the technology and soundbites have led to more shallow thinking. I interviewed a teacher who is retiring after 35 years yesterday, 2 years teaching 2nd grades and one change over the years she noted was the shorten attention span. WE need deep roots to stand the storms of life and that takes time and dwelling in the context
